For Kids and Parents A great site filled with reading games, activities, and stories. A favorite with kids! A fun word-making activity. Practice number words with this game. Use this site to find other fun games and activities. Parent Resources from the International Reading Association Several brochures are available for download. These brochures are designed especially for parents. For Teachers (and parents, too!) Teachers often spend a lot of money on professional development books. At this site, you can preview chapters of a text before purchasing it. You can even read entire books on this site. Ms. Powell has put a lot of work into her site. You will find great management ideas, decorating ideas, and printable forms. A great resource for teaching writing! This site has TONS of resources for teaching reading! LOTS of resources for teachers of all grades. Great for those that use the Four Blocks method. Spelling doesn't have to be boring! Tons of activities to do with spelling words! This site offers a lot of great resources for teachers. You will find lesson plans, rubrics, webquests, and more! A great site for teachers! This site offers chatboards and mailrings for teachers as well as articles, lesson plans, and more! This is how I got my class signed up for our postcard exchange.
